Learning at Work Week

Learning at Work Week 2026

At Leaderful Action, we believe learning should be meaningful, energising and accessible to everyone, and from 18th –24th May, Learning at Work Week gives us the perfect opportunity to celebrate exactly that.

This year’s theme is “Many Ways to Learn”, and throughout the week we’ll be sharing content, conversations, and resources designed to help you explore the many ways learning happens across your organisation. Whether you're a seasoned learning champion or just starting to build a learning culture in your workplace, there's something here for you.

So dive in, get involved, and let’s make learning at work something to shout about!

Many Ways to Learn

Learning doesn’t only happen in courses or formal training sessions. It happens in conversations, in small everyday moments, and while getting the work done.

This Learning at Work Week, we’re exploring the many different ways we learn — from coaching and live learning to e-learning, social learning, and learning in the flow of work.

Throughout the week, we’ll be sharing a different way to learn each day across our social channels, along with simple ideas to try and a free resource to help you explore each approach in practice.

Whether you’re looking for fresh inspiration, practical tools, or small ways to build more learning into everyday work, we’d love for you to follow along.

FREE Lunchtime Learning - Monday 18th May 1pm

Most workplace learning is treated as a one-off event — but that’s not how our brains learn best. Learning is more effective when we revisit ideas, reflect, discuss, and apply them in different ways over time.

In this interactive session, we’ll explore simple, practical learning hacks based on how the brain actually learns.

Together, we’ll look at how small habits and everyday opportunities can make learning feel easier, more engaging, and more likely to stick — without adding more pressure to your workload.

By attending, you will:
- Discover why traditional “one-and-done” learning doesn’t work
- Explore practical, brain-friendly ways to make learning more meaningful and memorable
- Identify simple learning habits and everyday opportunities that can support your growth and development

Get involved - Many Ways to Learn Bingo

You might be learning more than you realise.

Our Many Ways to Learn Bingo is a simple and fun way to notice the everyday moments where learning happens — the quick question to a colleague, the new approach you tried, the moment of reflection after a meeting, or the helpful conversation that gave you a fresh perspective. It is designed to help shine a light on those moments and encourage a little more curiosity about how we learn.

There’s no pressure to complete every square or compete with anyone else. Just see how many moments of learning you spot throughout your week — and maybe even discover a few new ways to learn along the way.

How to get involved:
• Download our workplace learning bingo card
• Tick off any that you do throughout the week (no need to complete the card—every small moment counts)
• Share the progress of your bingo card on social media (Linked In, Facebook, Instagram) - post it in a comment on one of our Learning at Work Week posts, or share to your page and tag Leaderful Action.

And to say thank you for getting involved, we'll enter you into a draw to win a Leaderful Learning Bundle!

The bundle includes:
• a thoughtfully chosen book
• a reflection journal practical
• coaching conversation cards
• some Leaderful Action goodies

It’s designed to keep your curiosity and learning going beyond the event.

We’d love to see more people join in, so if you know someone who’d enjoy the bingo challenge, please comment, tag them, or share one of our social posts to spread the word.
