Jenny joined the team as a Learning Co-ordinator in 2021. After more than a decade working in administration for busy, vibrant churches she felt it was time to follow her passion for learning and development into a new sphere of work. She brings with her a love for all things learning, a desire to help others grow and develop and an eye for logic, detail and consistency.

Dave Tosh (OBE) is a licensed Insights Discovery practitioner, executive coach, and facilitator. He actively brings his experience and knowledge when working with people at all levels within organisations. Dave has coached up to and including senior leaders in the public, private and third sectors.
Dave has over 40 years working experience in the public sector, private sector and the armed forces and recently retired as Director of Resources for the Welsh Parliament (Senedd). In 2022, Dave became a recipient of an OBE for Parliamentary and Public Service.

Natalie is an experienced Learning and Development Professional, who specialises in developing leaders and finding ways to make learning fit for purpose, flexible and (dare we say it) fun! Natalie has a natural thirst for learning which has led her to continuously develop her skills in Coaching and Action Learning, learning and development approaches, employee engagement and strategic leadership over the course of her career. She has hands-on experience of leading remote and hybrid teams and has extensive understanding and skills in creating digital, face-to-face and blended learning solutions. Dawn Smart
Dawn is one of our key associates and we would have her as part of our delivery team wherever possible. She is a joy to work with and our learners feel the same way – in fact they have nothing but positive things to say about her. Dawn’s engaging energy is there in her face to face delivery and her online webinars. She is something of an online master, managing learners through all kinds of topics, in her clear and optimistic way.
She is also a qualified executive coach, adept at turning her hand to developing individuals as well as groups. Dawn has been a key part of our team since 2017, working with Leaderful Action on large scales, long term projects. We started working with Bethan in 2018 and she is an integral part of our team. Sian has worked within the Health and Social Care field for 17 years, dedicating most of her career to the substance misuse sector. Outside of her working life, Sian is passionate about food. She can be found cooking up a storm trying new recipes in her kitchen or out in nature foraging for ingredients. She also enjoys lifting weights and spending time with feline friends.

Action Learning is a unique form of team problem solving which is more structured and which involves the whole group in non-directive questioning and helps support individuals and whole teams to gain powerful insights into outcomes, barriers, opportunities and solutions.

Ceri joined Leaderful Action in June 2025 as a Learning Co-ordinator, bringing with her over 25 years of HR experience and more than 5 years prior experience delivering training in the adult education sector. Supporting a business through growth and change
A private-sector business wanted to build on the progress it had already made, while creating greater consistency in how leaders and managers worked together. Senior leaders and line managers were navigating operational pressures, changing priorities and the need for stronger collaboration across departments.
We designed an in-person development programme that worked across organisational levels. This included a leadership-team workshop focused on shared decision-making, open dialogue and collective follow-through; management development on prioritisation, feedback and performance conversations; and Insights workshops to strengthen understanding, communication and team cohesion. Coaching support was also provided for senior leaders.
The work gave leaders and managers space to recognise progress, address practical barriers and agree clearer ways of working. It resulted in practical tools and agreed actions to strengthen cross-department collaboration, decision-making, communication and consistency in day-to-day leadership.
Helping a strong team work with greater intention
A well-established team had strong relationships, humour and camaraderie. However, their familiarity with one another sometimes meant that boundaries became too flexible, and there was an opportunity to be more intentional about the impact of everyday behaviours, conversations and interactions on the wider team culture.
We facilitated a tailored team-development session, using Insights colour profiles and structured discussion to explore what helps people feel included, respected and able to work well together. The team considered individual responsibility, agreed the behaviours they wanted to strengthen and identified practical ways to keep these conversations active in team meetings.
Participants left with a clearer sense of how they could support one another while maintaining positive, appropriate boundaries. Their understanding of how to cultivate a positive workplace culture increased from 4.6 to 5.6 out of 6.
Rebuilding trust in a newly combined team
Following a tender process, two services from different organisations were brought together to form a new team. The transition was particularly difficult for colleagues moving into a new organisation, and the two groups had previously been in competition. There was a significant history to work through, alongside understandable uncertainty and distrust.
We designed and facilitated a series of team-development sessions to create a safe, structured space for colleagues to get to know one another, discuss what they needed from the new team and begin building shared purpose. Activities and facilitated conversations supported trust, psychological safety, communication and agreement on priorities and ways of working.
The sessions helped the team begin moving from separate groups towards a more connected service. All post-session respondents rated the opportunity to connect with their team at 6 out of 6, and the overall session was rated 5.8 out of 6.
