Important: To help us manage space and keep everyone comfortable and safe, we ask that you book a seat for each talk you plan to attend. This lets us make sure there’s enough room for everyone, and avoids overcrowding in the main space. You’ll find these options when you register.
Why do I have to book - can't I just turn up?
As much as we would love to have everyone be able to attend, the rooms will only hold a limited group of people at a time, so spaces are limited. Booking the sessions you plan on attending is also essential to ensure you have an actual seat for the session.
To help us manage numbers and in the interest of equity, spaces are limited to 2 people per business / organisation.
If you turn up on the day, we will do our best to accommodate you if we can, but we can't guarantee we will have room. If you are already at the event and you want to join a PowerTalk that you haven't booked, we will be happy to offer you any seats that are unoccupied once the talk is about to start.
Remember, booking allows us to keep everyone safe and comfortable, and also allows us to properly cater for the event and make sure we have enough activities and resources for everyone. This will make the event more pleasant for everyone.
