Introduction to Neuro-Linguistic-Programming (NLP)

Neuro-Linguistic-Programming (NLP) is the ‘modelling of human excellence’. It is a range of techniques proven to be effective in the fields of learning, therapy, sports, health, organisational behaviour, and leadership development.  NLP is about empowerment and having greater flexibility of behaviour. For this reason, it is particularly effective in developing potential in individuals and teams.

In any interaction, the person who has the greatest flexibility of behaviour will be in control of the situation. NLP gives you these choices of behaviours.

NLP has a number of benefits in the workplace including.

We can offer NLP in a range of packages, from a half-day ‘Introduction to NLP’ to a fully accredited ‘NLP Practitioners’ Program’.  Alternatively, we can offer programmes as one-to-one coaching.

Our approach is tailored to meet your needs. It usually takes the form of an initial conversation to discover what is needed to deal with the problems effectively. We then facilitate a face to face meeting to establish your specific training requirement.

Sub modalities are personal and essential characteristics that differentiate between positive and negative thinking. Delegates learn how to make simple changes that can radically affect their emotions and, hence, behaviour.

Techniques, skills and methods that allow delegates to model people who are acknowledged 'experts' in their field.

Delegates learn about the way individuals unconsciously construct language and how one can understand a more about one’s own and others’ thinking. Individuals are then able to apply this knowledge to help create excellent rapport and learn the art of precision questioning and the power of being ‘artfully vague’ with language in order to improve communication skills.

Delegates learn the structure of a process that can add to their ability to make change happen.  These techniques may be used to deal with conflict, difficult memories and even phobias.

Delegates learn a process that ensures old negative emotions are cleared from impacting on the present/future; hence, affecting performance and behavioural flexibility.

The style of presentation is deliberately varied – using trainer input, demonstrations, exercises, open discussions and video clips – to ensure that all learning preferences are met.
