ILM Qualifications

Completing a senior level qualification with Leaderful Action provides meaningful training and development to ensure focused learning, combined with an opportunity to share experiences, discuss issues and discover potential solutions.

ILM Level 7 Certificate in Leadership and Management


The New ILM Level 7 certificate in Leadership and Management was launched by the ILM in April 2014 .We offer this new qualification via the unit Developing Leadership and Management through Enquiry (8617-21).

This is a leadership development qualification that blends face to face workshops with participation in a learning community.   Delegates will have the opportunity to develop their understanding of leadership theory and practice, benefit from increased personal awareness and reflection (using recognised assessments; including an emotional intelligence test), develop their own personal brand and explore the principles of leading change effectively.The programme is assessed via an enquiry based research project. This gives delegates the opportunity to develop their ability to identify, investigate and solve problems using action based research.

ILM Level 5 Certificate in Action Learning Facilitation

The course allows participants to immerse themselves in the process, to experience running action learning sets first hand and receive feedback to perfect their performance. The qualification  covers the principles and ground rules of action learning, setting up a new set, facilitation skills, coping with challenging set members, alternative models of action learning, evaluation and preparing sets for self-facilitation.

The programme now consists of four face to face workshops, learning via our virtual learning environment, group and one-to-one tutorials. There are 3 written assignments, one requiring at least 12 hours of facilitated action learning practice. Some of these hours we be achieved during the taught programme.
