Leaderful Action

What we do

Executive Coaching

We offer a non-directive approach to coaching. Our role is to support the agreement of a clear well formed outcome and then facilitate a focussed confidential discussion, usually resulting in a planned course of action.

Coaching can be used to support individuals in any level of an organisation to facilitate ‘good’ to ‘excellent’.

Coaching is widely used as a development process and more than 80% of British companies embrace it in some form. This is because coaching works. The 2009 CIPD survey confirms that coaching ranks as the most highly-rated development activity in the UK.

Typically sessions last between 1 1/2 – 2 hours. The number of sessions is totally controlled by the needs of the client-some find just two or three sessions effective. Others benefit from longer programmes, or dip in and out as required.

Our coaches are qualified*, are memebrs of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council, have worked in senior positions themselves and have a track record of successful coaching assignments.

Executive Coaching

Positions at a senior level in organisations can be a lonely place. You are often faced with complex problems, tricky people situations and tough decisions. With the expectation that you have all the answers and know the best way forward.

In keeping with a non-directive approach to coaching, Executive Coaching does not offer advice; instead it uses effective questioning, active listening, summarising and reflection techniques, as well as more advanced coaching techniques; for example, belief busting and meta-mirror.

The process offers a neutral sounding board and ‘air space’, enabling you to unearth the most effective course of action for yourself.

Feedback has included:

An excellent ability to empathise with me and through questioning and drilling down, uses different techniques to draw out alternative ways of looking at things in an objective way.

We are also able to facilitate senior management, management, project or team meetings where a neutral guardian of the process is needed to help support achievement of a specific aim.

E.g. agreeing a new structure, vision and mission, priorities, values or strategy.

Facilitation supports a group in being able to:

We help you achieve what you set out to do, rather than contribute to the content of the discussion.
